The Multi-Voicing® switch on the back of the Atlantis lets you choose among three individual analog circuit paths, resulting in three distinct microphone sounds. Explore the switch settings with the arrows below.
Forward is the purest signal path within Atlantis, passing audio from its 38mm capsule directly into the transformer, providing a revealing, open, and modern tone with accentuated mid and high frequencies.
Neutral incorporates new circuit combinations that shape the sound of Atlantis, providing a more even frequency response with a slight de-emphasis on mid and high frequencies, delivering a smooth, classic microphone sound.
Gentle gives the Atlantis a dark, velvety vintage sound that easily tames harsh or bright sound sources while maintaining low and midrange clarity, marrying vintage condenser clarity with the softness and weight of a ribbon microphone.
The Atlantis signal path is populated with high-resolution, low-distortion polypropylene capacitors, U.S.-made low-noise FET, and a custom-wound output transformer.
Every Atlantis FC-387 includes a wooden case and shock mount.

Frequently asked questions for Atlantis FC-387
Absolutely! Its 38mm capsule makes Atlantis fantastic on high SPL sources like outside a bass drum, mono overhead, electric guitar cabinets, and more. Just be sure to set the gain switch on the microphone to -10dB, and you are good to go!
We designed the Atlantis to perform optimally with or without an outboard preamp. If you don’t have one, it’s no problem. The Atlantis will still sound fantastic plugged straight into your audio interface! Want to add more color to your sound? Grab your favorite preamp and explore Atlantis’s gain and MultiVoicing settings alongside it to dial in your sound.
Although they may appear similar, Eden is not a tube version of Atlantis. They may share similar features, like MultiVoicing and our exclusive 38mm capsule, but each design is completely unique.
