The LS-208 allows you to achieve high-fidelity recordings in challenging situations. Track in the control room, an untreated space, or in close proximity with full confidence.
The LS-208 rejects off-axis sounds, including bandmates, pets, air conditioning, and room echo.
Two dedicated filters allow for immediate sound-shaping right at the source.

Frequently asked questions for LS-208
Yes. The LS-208 is designed for close use in less-than-ideal spaces, from bedrooms to control rooms. Just pop on the included windscreen or the optional Shulze Brockel upgrade, turn on phantom power, and you are ready to go.
You can use a pop filter in place of the included windscreen for added top-end clarity, but it’s not required. The LS-208 is designed for use with its included windscreen. For vocals, one or the other should always be used to protect the capsule from moisture and debris.
The LS-208 needs more gain than most condenser microphones, but any audio interface with at least 60dB of gain should have more than enough for the LS-208. Just be sure your audio interface drivers are installed to maximize available gain.
