THE MAGIC OF ATLANTIS ON VOCALS

Check Out Matt Kent Tracking Vocals For His New Song "Seventeen" Into An Atlantis FC-387 Microphone.

We love the sound of this microphone! We did not use any EQ, nor did we have to do any tuning. We only used the Waves R-Compressor and some reverb from Liquidsonics Verbsuite Classics.
Dante Lattanzi, CEO Caelum Music Production.

Matt Kent is an up-and-coming Vocalist and Multi-instrumentalist best known for his popular series "Turning Classical Music Into Pop Songs," utilizing a blend of organic instruments and minimalist production techniques. But Kent's talents are not limited to classical reimaginations. His latest song, "Seventeen," explores the lingering effects of loss and the unanswered questions that come with it.

All vocals and violin were tracked at Caelum Music Production in Oceanside, NY, into a Lauten Audio Atlantis FC-387 microphone. Multivoicing was set to the Neutral position, and the microphone was connected directly to the stock preamps of an Antelope Audio Orion Studio. No unison preamplification was applied.
