Frequently asked questions for Rim Mount
Yes, it will! Rim Mount works on almost any drum, with very few exceptions. Just be mindful not to use tools like pliers to over-tighten it onto the rim, especially on drums with wood hoops.
While not explicitly designed for this application, some Rim Mount owners have reported success and happily use it on congas.
Unfortunately, the bass drum rim is too large for Rim Mount, but it will work on almost any tom, floor tom, or snare drum.
