"For the past year and a half I have exclusively used the Lauten LA-120s as the overheads on my Gretsch drum kit. Not only do they sound fantastic, but they are so easy to position exactly where I want due to their compact size. With the internal filters, I can easily switch between a super open hi-fi top end to a warmer one and also control the low end, all right from the microphone. If you need any more convincing, go check out the drums on the album, Where Did All the Butterflies Go, by Beauty School Dropout."
"As a full time content creator and session musician, I have never used a microphone with less demand for processing as the 320. This microphone is so unbelievably transparent and warm. Making music for short form content means that the listener is not always experiencing my music though quality speakers, but the 320 makes up for it with clarity, and that classic tube condenser warmth."
"The Lauten LA220 is such an incredible microphone. I've used it on countless pop vocals, acoustic guitars, room mics, and it ALWAYS performs incredibly. The LA220 has a smooth top end, defined mid range, and full low end that I've never heard in a microphone even close to this budget. The fact that Lauten has made such a versatile, detailed, and well built microphone at its price is truly mind blowing."
"The Clarion FC-357 is the most used microphone in my studio. I’ve been capturing everything from vocals to bass guitar with this mic for the last 5 years, and it’s truly amazing how versatile it is. This mic never disappoints!"
"This is truly my favorite tom mic. The sonic texture, the transient, and the rejection all combine to make this the absolute perfect tom mic. I haven’t changed them once since they got set up."
"I love the Lauten mics. they have a phenomenal, unique sound that works for so many different styles of music. In a studio like Rancho de la Luna, that is extremely important. Lauten mics are pinpoint focused, eliminating the unwanted addition of cymbal bleed , all while being built as tough and beautiful as any mic, with the greatest hardware available, which enables incredibly flexible placement. I'd highly recommend Lauten mics for any studio. Love to all"
